Low-profile active GPS screw mount antenna is designed for use in fleet management, automatic vehicle location (AVL), tracking, mobile video and recreational applications that require peak gain in a compact, vandal resistant form factor. It is ideally suited for vehicular GPS-enabled modems/routers and dedicated GPS receivers. The antenna can be used with passive or active GPS equipment via its integrated 28 dB low noise amplifier (LNA).
This antenna is compact and resistant to Vandalism in a rugged low profile ABS. Provides a ground plane independent dipole antenna solution which mounts permanently to metallic and non-metallic surfaces. The antenna permanently mounts via a M12 screw hole with internal nut. Includes of low-loss RG174 coax fed through center mounting post pre-terminated with a right-angle standard SMA connector.
Adhesive pad or optional rubber boot create a water-tight seal.The antenna is not removable from outside and there is no exposed coax cable once installed.
